Goldennose Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Here is a collection of gods and goddesses... Take a guess who they try to represent. ๐ 7 Quote
Runeblogger Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Lovely! ๐๐ย Are they Blood Sun, Gorgorma, Umath, Lodril and Triolina? What are these for? Are you the artist? 1 1 Quote Read my Runeblog about RuneQuest and Glorantha at:ย http://elruneblog.blogspot.com.es/
Jason Farrell Posted November 22 Posted November 22 One or more of the folks who work on the East Isles books on the JC.ย That I can say for sure. ๐ 1 Quote

Jeff Posted November 22 Posted November 22 These are fabulous! My immediate thoughts went to Blood Sun, Mallia, Ygg, Shargash, and let me ponder the last a little more. 1 1 Quote

ViktorD100 Posted November 23 Posted November 23 So, the bottom three gods are still unnamed. If I had to take some educated guesses, maybe Kolat, Shargash and either Triolina or Mirintha? 1 Quote
Goldennose Posted November 23 Author Posted November 23 Great guessess from everyone, and those could easily be those named. But the three left are not named yet. As Jason Farrell expected, these are for the East Isles books. Quote

Oh if it's Eastern Isles, then could the bottom one maybe be Harantara? I've been reading up on water deities recently and she came up as a mother figure to eastern merfolk.ย 1 Quote

ViktorD100 Posted November 23 Posted November 23 So I actually took a look at the gods of the Eastern Isles, and I'm gonna place another educated guess and guess that the four armed bloke is Saliligor, because I do see the Man Rune on his abdomen/chest, and I recall him having an association with that.ย 1 Quote

Joerg Posted November 24 Posted November 24 The Ludoch-shaped one might be Venperhesha. Emanthver is usually shown as a male. 1 Quote Telling how it is excessive verbis ย
Goldennose Posted November 24 Author Posted November 24 43 minutes ago, Joerg said: The Ludoch-shaped one might be Venperhesha. Emanthver is usually shown as a male. This is the correct answer. It is Venperesha, or Tholaina would have been right in my Glorantha too. ๐ So, this is the correct answer. These are the gods I have tried to make here: Blood Sun, Arlu, Veldru, Karkal, Venperesha. The first two will be in the upcoming Vol 5 of the Hero Wars in the East Isles JC title. 3 1 Quote

ViktorD100 Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Okay, I'm gonna go real obscure with Stafford Library, and guess it's Fer Retheven, the anti-goddess of sickness from Vithelan mythology.ย 1 Quote
