Figured as the MR is a great source of material for Keepers I would ding out what your favorite Supplements or Scenarios are.

I will start off:

My favorite Supplement is the Japan: Empire of Shadows sourcebook by David Trotti. Reason this is my favorite supplement is due to the fact that it fleshes out 1920's Japan giving us a excellent setting for CoC scenarios to take place beyond the standard Lovecraft Country (granted you also have from Chaosium themselves Harlem Unbound, Berlin The Wicked City and Terror Australis for additional settings and I love these just as much as Japan: Empire of Shadows).

Now for my favorite Scenario it is a toss up between Whispers from Wavering Hills by Scott Cox and The Legacy of Lombard House (and its solo version Alone against Nyarlathotep) by Lee Wade. These are both scenarios I enjoy running for different groups.

An honorable mention for me would be the various 100 People/Books/Businesses/Letters/Gangsters/etc... to find in _____. I have found myself using these to quickly flesh out scenarios I have created on short notice.

Favorite Supplement is the same: Japan: Empire of Shadows.

Favorite Scenario: Heinrich's Guide to Carcosa. Solo adventure, but really a stunning effort.

Heinrich's Guide to Carcosa is a nice solo adventure, have it and since I am a Keeper I rarely play so any Solo adventures be it that one, Alone Against Nyarlathotep, or the official Chaosium published Alone Against scenarios are something I love as it lets me actually play as character, even if its by myself.

Another vote fo Japan Empire of Shadows.  It's extremely detailed, written with a clear love of the country, but no apologism for the crimes of its Imperial era.  Three campaign frames integrated into the setting material.  I can't recommend it highly enough.

I would also like to add that the Bundles are also great ways to build up your collection of Scenarios. If you have a bunch of scenarios already that are included in bundles that actually will bring the cost of the bundle down (some scenarios are included in multiple bundles too).

For Regency Cthulhu fans, Host and Hostility is a great addition.  It's for a single Investigator, a debutante, and there are three scenarios each revolving around a possible suitor.

I don't like naming a favorite given how many I haven't read (even among those I own).

I'll just give a shoutout to Full Fathom Five, a scenario by Paul Fricker (he's written lots of stuff for CoC, so he might be a familiar name).  Set on a whaling ship in 1847, it's partially railroaded and obviously self-contained (being in the middle of the ocean), and thus makes for a good scenario for beginning players and keepers.

while I personally havent gotten "Full Fathom Five" yet, I have read through a it via a fellow Keeper that I know who has it when I was over at his house. Looks like it is a nice (as you said) self contained scenario perfect for new players as it is a set location. It is on my list of scenarios to get, though there are a couple other MR items (Ireland for one as I am a sucker for any source book that help flesh out other locations in the world that I can have the investigators visit) that are higher up on my list at the moment.

Besides, who can resist a cover where a crazed Sandy Petersen-like figure rises from the waves as the Herald of R'lyeh!
