Basic Fantasy Questing comes from the Basic Fantasy people, so it might be quite a different take on the idea of D100 D&D, coming from the other side of the fence as it were. I haven't had time to even look at the thing yet, but you can get it from the BFRPG download page (you have to scroll down quite a bit to get to it). Some form of labourer/crafter with a 'Baltimore' cultural package could be a start...
