Even if once put a lot of "house" rules in the final product, the purpose is to stay as close as possible to the original set of rules. Saying that it is a Legend product when it is more a BRP one (or the reverse) would lead to more confusion than benefit. And many readers could also be disappointed. If I picked up a supplement for Game X, that alleged to compatible fwith Game X, but wasn't, I'd feel like somebody pulled a fast one.
