Marras
Hi! It's my first post at BRP Central Dark Streets setting sound very intriguing especially after reading Ratcatcher by James McGee. The book is about a Bowstreet Runner called Hawkwood and it might give even further inspiration to Dark Streets games. There are some more books in the series and the second is called Resurrectionist and so might be even more appropriate for these games.
doomedpc
Hi Marras, Welcome I agree, that series is very appropriate (even though, from memory, it's set a little later) - good call! 1 Quote Peter Cakebread Cakebread&WaltonO:) Purveyors of Fine Imaginings
michaelsbagley
Also a little later, and more colonial rather than London-based.... "Thieftaker" by D.B. Jackson is a good fit as well. There are currently two other novels in that series, as well as 3 or 4 short stories that bridge between the various novels (I think one or two fo the short stories are prequels). But they are incredibly enjoyable reads.
