Sean_RDP
I have been out of the convention circuit for a while. This year I can make a summer one and if so, I will actually "launch" Skaerune' there. I will be at Jordan Con in April but am running the Sci Fi track there so won't be able to run any Skaerune. However, I am friends with the game director and if anyone wants to run some BRP stuff let me know and I can help facilitate that. (Jordan Con is in Atlanta, GA USA). So are there any decent sized summer conventions that allow someone to schedule and run their own games? It has to be in the US this year, next year I am hoping to be able to afford to go elsewhere. Any thoughts? I will also gladly support anyone who is interested in the running the game at cons as best that I can once the game catches on and gets some interest, which I think it will once the Quick Start guide is done. Thanks in advance for any thoughts. cjbowser
GenCon is the biggest game-centric con in the US, followed by Origins. Both are summer cons and they'll let you run whatever game you want. I played in some games last year that were still being developed by their respective companies. Storm-Con (SC), RoundCon (SC), and ConCarolinas (NC) are smaller regional summer cons that have excellent gaming tracks. Looking further out in the year, MACE is probably the biggest gaming-only con in the southeast. It's in November in NC. 1 Quote Various RPGs I've worked on
Sean_RDP
I forgot about those Carolina cons. One of those might work out perfectly. I am not ready for Origins or Gen Con quite yet. Thanks! cjbowser
I forgot to mention Congregate. It's a newish con (year 3 in 2016), but its gaming track is run by the same team that does the various MACE cons, so it's top notch. It might be a good place to test out Skaerune. Heck, if you go to Congregate in July, I'll play in a game of Skaerune. http://www.con-gregate.com/hotel.htm Edited January 8, 2016 by cjbowser 1 Quote Various RPGs I've worked on
