Agentorange
It's a great little film in my opinion, some stories are better than others, but if you can get a copy cheap or find it for online viewing it's well worth it.
Trifletraxor
Things are not what they seem in the dusty town of Devil's Gulch... Devil's Gulch - Basic Roleplaying Adventures in the Weird Wild West, details a single Weird Western Town designed so that it can be practically placed anywhere. The town is fully described as well as the personalities that populate it. There are rules for new character types, skills, combat, magic, mad science, and more than a few critters thrown in for good measure. Everything you need to run a western campaign. The book has dual descriptions, so that it can be used in an historical campaign, as well as a weird west campaign. Special sections show how to transform Devil’s Gulch from a historically-based Western boomtown into a Weird West or Steampunk West town, or even into a Victorian outpost on the newly-settled planet Mars. Includes two adventures and countless adventure seeds! 88 pages + a mini poster. The author is Troy Wilhelmson. The manuscript was submitted to Chaosium July 2008, currently on schedule to be released October 2010 for regular distribution. ................ Man, this one took a long time from submission to publication! SGL. Edited September 4, 2010 by Trifletraxor Quote Ef plest master, this mighty fine grub! 116/420. High Priest. seneschal
So ... "Supernatural Western" morphed into "Devil's Gulch"? And this is the second occult Western book for BRP to come out, isn't it? The other was Aces High. Wonder how they compare?
Trifletraxor
Yup, second book. I've played Aces High and had a lot of fun with that one. Will probably play this one too, I'll just have to convince our "western" GM to purchase it! SGL. Quote Ef plest master, this mighty fine grub! 116/420. High Priest. JonHook
I'm really looking forward to Devil's Gulch. I love the concept. I also love the page count and price point. There is no reason why anyone wouldn't pick this up.
Redcrow
I'm looking forward to this as well. Westerns and the Supernatural just go together like peanut butter and jelly.
