shark_bone
After reading through the first episode of A Time to Harvest, I knew that I wanted to run it. I'd never actually run the game before but I've run lots of other ones. My home group all says that they've tried Call of Cthulhu before and none were impressed and had little interest in trying it again. However, after pitching this scenario and discussing the new rules in 7th edition, I finally got a few to play it. And they loved it! This episode of the scenario was fantastic to play through. I squeezed all the important story points into a single 4 hour session and we all had so much fun. The game has been added to our game rotation. So, it works as an introduction to the game and rules. It was a blast to go through. 2 Link to comment
mibagents
Are you continuing on with the rest of the campaign with this group? Link to comment
shark_bone
The plan is to do that in the future. For now, there were other games in the rotation that they were more excited to play. Of course, we switch game every couple months, usually, so that doesn't surprise me all that much. Link to comment
caddy1071
I totally agree on this - we just finished up the first episode with two survivors (out of 5) and their heads are spinning and excited for the further investigation. Excellent job, guys - my players are loving it! tty! Cory 1 Link to comment
