Hey all,

Posted this here before but want to point it out again. looking to raise money to acquire a 3d printer for business use to make miniatures and now expanded to plastic jewlery that would make good cheap larp gear. aldo includes some examples of items to be produced.

Are 3D Printers any good for miniatures? I have heard that they are too blotchy for that. 

Making LARP jewellry would suit 3D printing, though.

From what I have seen, terrain/buildings/etc are REALLY well-suited for 3D printing; but I honestly have seen few (if any) 25mm/18mm mini's that really impressed.

I understand - fwiw -- that the "resin" (as opposed to plastic) printers can do fine detail a bit better.
