Sean_RDP
So on a lark (after mentioning B5 yesterday) I decided to stat out some of the races based on Magic World, which I think would make a great system for B5. Especially considering much of the series had the flavor of Moorcock (including an homage to Elric). Anyway comments, thoughts, and such. Joerg
Most of the activities in Babylon 5 took place on the station, in space ships or in urban planetary environments, with caves or tunnels a close second for planetary environments. You would need rules for projectile and energy weapons in addition to the melee ones provided by Magic World, although these can be treated as spell matrix items, and a system for flying small spacecraft which might be loaned from ship rules, except where fighter craft are involved - those would need aerial combat rules, as if flying on griffins or giant birds, armed with spell-slinging staffs. Energy weapons etc. would make this a setting of lots of magical equipment that doesn't activate like magic and doesn't feel like magic. 1 Quote Telling how it is excessive verbis
soltakss
I can't remember the Abbai - Were they the Shadow-helpers who operated on Molari? No, they were one of the league races, quite prominent in Season 1 and 2 as I recall. Sean_RDP
Additionally in B5Wars, the background basically paints the Abbai as the catalyst to form the League in the first place.
