Hello Hive!

As we were getting close to our maximum storage space, a measly 5 GB, and did not want to pay a lot for an upgrade at IPS, some of the files are now stored externally with Amazon.

Please tell if you have any problems with downloads, attachments or images - these are the main files affected.

Cheers, Trifletraxor.

You got it.

By the way, browser have started to flag any site without a SSL certificate as unsafe to write in a passwords for, as the passwords are not encrypted if the site is hacked. So, we'll have to get us one of those.

What's funny is Firefox shows this as partially secure, and when I checked details it shows this image path still using http: http://basicroleplaying.com/images/other/b1.gif

Thanks! I'll get support to have a look at it.

FYI, just got a Chrome warning about https://basicroleplaying.org not being a safe site. Just figured I should mention it, in case there's a problem with the site's security certificate or something.

I'm not able to reproduce this. Could you please post the entire warning you got, plus any information provided with it? Did you just type in the URL or did you search for it first, and if that is the case, what search engine did you use? Google's Safe Browsing Diagnostic Tool reports No unsafe content found. Do you use any add-ons to your browser which might have triggered the warning?

I get that 'do not trust this security certificate' warning if I try to access BRP Central on my desktop PC using the Google Chrome web browser.

However I typically check in using my mobile device, an iPad, and don't get that warning via the Safari web browser.

I sometimes browse via my smartphone which also uses a version of Google Chrome, and it gets a similar warning. It may be a Google Chrome issue.

Could you post a screenshot? I'm not seeing the same myself using chrome.

Ok back home. I couldn't work out how to send a direct screen shot, so I pasted it into a word doc and attached that - see attachment.

I think there may be an Adblock app in my Chrome browser, I suspect that is the cause of the message...

I think it's the faulty URL with the period at the end that brings up the insecure connection warning. https://basicroleplaying.org. Adding the period at the end gives warnings in firefox, explorer and chrome - and following that link leads to a misdirected request page.

Could you double-check this and see what happens if you go to https://basicroleplaying.org ?

Followed your link in Google Chrome, and no problems :)

(So I've bookmarked to that link now)

I assume a faulty URL was the reason behind your warning too Nick J., but please tell if that does not turn out to be the case. S.

Whoops, sorry I didn't reply sooner, I've been really busy and haven't visited since I reported that error. I just clicked on your link with the period following and it threw up the same error as before. I honestly don't remember if I typed in the address or used a bookmark from before, but I suspect I typed it in wrong.

Cheers

I can confirm that I see a "Your connection may not be secure" error (https explicilty reverted to http) when there's a terminal "." on an otherwise-identical URL.
