Karhast 0 Report post Posted February 11 Hello everyone, I've come across Glorantha and have started reading a lot, as of late. Enough that I'd be very happy to take the plunge and actually play the game, save for one issue: I don't know where to find anyone to play with! I don't want to post in the wrong spot, so please tell me if this isn't the right place and I'll go elsewhere. If not, I'll be very, very happy to join any online group to play runequest with, and anyone interested in adding a player can message me here or add me on Discord under the tag Karhast#5688
Rick Meints 1,220 Report post Posted February 14 I would ask in the RuneQuest forum, and also on Facebook on the RuneQuest page.
soltakss 1,966 Report post Posted February 15 Hi Karhast - Where are you based? That might help. There might be a convention near you that has a RQ or Gloranthan game. There is a Gloranthan convention in Birmingham (UK) in March, for example, but that might be a long way for you. Also, a lot of people play online nowadays, so that might be a good way of getting a game.
David Scott 2,095 Report post Posted February 15 There are groups that play RQ in the Netherlands, I know a few, I’m not sure they are on this forum Add yourself to http://nearbygamers.com/ there are plenty. There is normally a Dutch contingent at Eternal Con: https://eternal-con.de/ have a look at the Facebook group.
Karhast 0 Report post Posted Sunday at 08:40 PM Thank you for the response! I am indeed Dutch, based out of Rotterdam for good measure. Unfortunately, both Germany and England are quite far out the way for me to travel, and the tabletop scene here in Rotterdam is.. Not good, either. Playing online does sound nice, though I've not found any groups either. I have now joined the Chaosium Discord, at least, so here's hoping.
