Cult for a Centuar PC

Hey, I've got a player that has asked to run a Centaur, which I agreed to once I saw there was a "Creating an Adventurer" section for Centaurs.  Then, I read further down and found that they all worship Arachne Solara. And there is little info on her(?) anywhere in the rules.  Not sure what I should allow for Rune and Spirit spells, and cult skills. 

Is there some resouce I can look in?  I've got the Glorantha Sourcebook, but that didn't seem to have much that would help with this. 

I've thought about invoking YGMV, and saying they worship some other god(s), but haven't gotten as far as deciding which one(s).

Individuals (player characters) can always vary from the norm.  That's part of what makes them unique.

IIRC, Arachne Solara is one of those distant deities that gives no magic; worshippers give reverence because they feel she deserves it; and maybe some of them feel that what she's doing is so critical she cannot spare to give magic back & needs all the POW & MP's they can channel to her...  Continuance of Glorantha is what they "get back."

I'd let a PC also choose more "adventurer style" deity to also worship, maybe Hykim&Mikyh?  Historically, the Greeks saw several areas of special interest for Centaurs, but I don't know which of those (if any) the "canonical" Gloranthan centaurs share... wild "Ixon" type, maybe Uroxi?  Chiron-like?  are they archers? teachers? herbalist/alchemists/healers?

Shergar Sunhoof, Centaur Extraordinaire, joined the Yelmalio cult for several reasons:

• He didn't want to be a Hunter or join Orlanth
• RQ2 didn't have anything for Arachne Solara or Animism and he didn't want to be a Shaman
• Yelmalio specifically allowed Beastmen to join

The fact that he could charge with a lance and that counted as a spear for Rune Lord status, or that he could use a specialised form of Kuschile Horse Archery, was neither here nor there.

Before he became a Rune Lord, he would name-drop Uncle Ironhoof in conversation, then gained the Geas "Speak only Truth to everyone", so decided that name-dropping was not cool and stopped. He ended up being the High Priest of a travelling Yelmalio Temple and War Chief of a Yelmalian Centaur Warband in northern Prax.

Basically they are pure animists and so their magical leaders are shaman. However their leader is the demigod Ironhoof, so he is a role model and worshipped as such - a culture hero. Look at the Glorantha Sourcebook, page 11:

He [Ironhoof] was the son of Ner-jalari, sister to the Horse God, and Orlanth, King of the Gods.

He will likely provide some rune magic (a couple) and maybe some associated from his mother and father (one each). Some may follow Orlanth. The Book of Heortling Mythology page 44 (https://www.chaosium.com/the-book-of-heortling-mythology-pdf/) also tell us of Ironhoof stalking the Lady of the Wild (their child is Harrjeen who is chief of the Centaurs). She is likely worshipped at the Wild Temple too.

The centaur Adventurer is my game joined Daka Fal as one of the "mostly nonexistent" members.
