PhilHibbs
Am I right in concluding that there is no sorcery spell that defends against incoming sorcery spells? *Edit* I suppose Attract Magic might count... Austin
Neutralize (Rune) and Neutralize Spirit Magic both resist against incoming spells. Incoming spell's strength v. the Neutralize's strength. Neutralize Magic, however, does not; it just cancels a spell for the duration. Both Solace of the Logical Mind and Logical Clarity provide immunity to varieties of mental confusion, Befuddle, enthrallment, etc which might count. Each also cost the subject access to their Passions. Quote Jonstown Compendium author. Find my publications here. Disclaimer: affiliate link. Joerg
Does sorcery count as rune magic? In other words, will Neutralize Air protect from Steal Breath? And would "Neutralize Moon" have an effect on a Lunar phase bonus? Quote Telling how it is excessive verbis

Nope, Neutralize (Rune) only works on rune magic, not sorcery.
jps
Against physical damage? Besides Attract magic, I'd say Castback and Wards against weapons. Edited April 27, 2019 by jps

Castback offers no protection whatsoever. It merely sends back a spell that already failed to affect you.
jps
Oops, my mistake. Ward against weapons would work though, right?

Would it protect against spell damage? Probably, if it's physical damage like Finger of Fire.
