Let’s see (pulls out note pad and pencil, opens notepad to a blank page, distractedly licks pencil tip.... eyes Puckohue suspiciously and begins to scribble furiously, notices Puckohue staring at him...).

“What... who me, nothing, nope, not doing nothing, nice day for a stroll, no? La la la la..."

Is there a way for me to make private notes on users, for my own reference?

Send a Message to yourself. Make the subject either the specific user or whatever. It'll go to your private Inbox and you can review whenever.

All private, no fuss, nothing additional required.

Oh, that's good, very simple too.

You might exceed your number of Messages, but you would have to write a lot of notes to do that.

Isn't there a limit? i thought I had nearly hit it once, before I deleted old messages.

And who are you calling a munger?

Did you know that you can quote multiple messages in one go? Did you know that you can quote messages from a previous page of a thread? The "+" button is here for you!

image.png.1f23d49a4b4214dda8ff6ebab1ad8eb5.png

As you catch up with a thread, every time you see a post you want to quote, hit that plus button. As you keep reading, hit it again. It will accumulate multiple posts in a little floating widget on the bottom right:

image.png.14b750e81be7e1e503a08862e887718f.png

The best thing about this widget is that it stays alive as you move from one thread page to the next!

Once you're ready to start typing your witty replies, hit that widget: it will add a quote section for each of the accumulated posts in your reply editor, with a little space in between each.

Oh no, you say: I have giant quoted areas, when I really wanted to quote a few bits here and there! Fear not: just click inside the quoted areas and edit them as usual. You can remove all that text except the one sentence that you want to reply to. If there were more than one sentence to reply to, isolate that thing, and hit "Enter" twice. The first time will add an empty line inside the quoted area, but the second time will cut the quoted area in two at that point. Yay! Now you should have exactly what you want in terms of quotations.

Has the spoiler tag gone? I can't seem to get it to work.

I don't think it is case sensitive, but you have to get the spelling right.

So, this works OK

[spioler]but this doesn't.
It doesn't like multiple spoilers on a single page, as they bleed into each other.

Signature Lines

How do we change them?  I have one that I must've set when I joined back in 2008.  I can't seem to find a means of changing it now in my profile settings.

!i!

[Edit: Found it!  Though it clearly wasn't where I expected it.

 • Go to your profile icon in the upper right corner of the page.
 • There's a dropdown menu to the right of your profile name.
 • Drop down to Account Settings, click.
 • When taken to the next page, the last Settings option on the left is Signature.
 • Click, and signify away.]

So if I type
vinegar in milk
does it curdle your blood?

So I am trying to use the Spolier Tag here and it isn't working... Help?

We had an upgrade to improve the experience.

That upgrade removed spoiler functionality, even though it is included in every forum software that I have seen.

What we do instead is:

Change the font colour to white

Highlight the blank text to se what it does.

I've added the Spoiler button to the toolbar! You need to use the 👁️ now.

The upgrade removed an older system of spoilers, and replaced it with a new system. It's an option, so I found it and added it to the toolbar. It wont show on mobile devices as the screens are too small.

Tell me you are testing the use of RQ fonts for this site, pretty please.

Have a look in the smiley Emoji icon in the editing toolbar. Look in categories - runes...

you can also type for example element-fire with a colon immediately before and after. <code>:element-fire:<\code>

as you start to type the after the : the runes should start appearing.

the current set are too large (50px), I will resize and upload soon.

Keep it under your hat for the moment.

You have been a busy boy, haven't you?

Thanks for this, it is much easier than using Windows snip to take a picture of a rune and pasting it into the text.

Now, because we are never satisfied:

 • All the sub-Runes (Cold, Shadows etc)
 • All the Minor runes (Eternal Battle etc)
 • The Sorcery forms (Tap etc) from the RQG Rulebook

Then we can think of other things for you to do during Lockdown!

Again, thanks for this, it makes a big difference to the Glorantha pages.
