I understand the 'doing it right' strategy and that's actually ok with me. I suppose I'm just greedy but I can't wait to get my hands on the physical books as soon as they are released. I think W&E pdf came out November 2021 so it has been a long wait for the physical copy. Even assuming Gods of Glorantha pdf is release in the next few months I imagine it will be well into 2023 before the books are in our hands. With so many other exciting books/supplements planned I guess it's just a case of good things come to those that wait! 🙂

Really does help Rick, thank you. I certainly wouldn't be critical of Chaosium in any way if there are further delays given the global situation. I will keep an eye on the website and the Ab Chaos newsletter regards availability of both items. Looking forward to reading them!

Yes it does look great, a really useful aid for adventuring in Glorantha. I really want the physical book so quite a wait to order it but I think it will be worth the wait!

Thank you 7Tigers, I've submitted my application to join the Cult of Chaos. I'm a long time RQ GM/player going back to the early 1980's. Looking to take my current gaming group back to the world of Glorantha. I've recently purchased all the RQG books but I'm really looking forward to getting the starter set when it's released so I can start the journey!

Where is that module available? I think I saw an actual play session on youtube but would like to download or purchase it if available.

I'm really looking forward to this too. I believe late September is the earliest it will be available (but that isn't confirmed).

So I cancelled my orders and ordered Red Book of Magic from the Chaosium site. Added bonus, the PDF is free with the purchase so I can read it until my physical book arrives! Will do the same for the starter set to ensure I get it as quickly as possible 🙂

Thanks Phil. Sounds very much like I need to wait for it to appear on the Chaosium website. Based on Ricks comments I'll likely get it (physical box set) quicker if I order direct rather than wait for my gaming store to get stock. 

Thanks for the clarification on release dates Rick. I assume you mean ordering direct from the Chaosium website? I notice the starter set doesn't seem to be advertised on there at the moment (red book of magic is though). I am ordering from a UK gaming shop so it's interesting their estimated date is late September when it could be much later. I will keep a close eye on it and if this is the case I will consider cancelling and ordering direct from Chaosium if it means getting the set much sooner in the UK. Thanks again. 

Hi, I'm in the UK and have the starter set on pre-order. I think it's due for release towards the end of September here. I also have the red book of magic on pre-order (similar release date). Yep I'm very excited about the new releases but especially the cults book. Hope it includes some of the more unusual cults like Thed and Vivamort. 

Thank you Oracle and DreadDomain your posts were really helpful. I'm really excited about the number of books and supplements in the works. I had no idea there were so many! Really looking forward to the two volume cults book, weapons and equipment book and Sartar/Dragon Pass campaign. Cults have interested me since the early days of RQ (Cults of Prax/Terror) so can't wait. I guess I'll keep checking in on these forums for updates. I have the starter set and red book of magic on order. Do we think there will be any more new release before the end of 2021? Thanks again.

Sorry I'm new to RQ Roleplaying in Glorantha (just purchased all the currently available books including the starter set) and would like to know what new books are planned? I hear mention of a cults book and saw one of the Chaosium team mention Pavis and some Jonstown based scenarios. Would someone kindly let me know which books/adventures are planned? Appreciate details and exact release dates may not be available but any information would be appreciated. Thanks.
