Many thanks to @Randy Chikosky, @ryanjovian and @MichaelArkAngel for participating and submitting such great work!

While the intentions behind this Cult of Chaos voluntary activity are completely honourable, the Chaosium management (Neil, Rick, Jeff, and myself) were not aware of the specifics, and consequently we have decided to offer to pay all three creators who submitted entries.

WOW! that is very generous of Chaosium to do this, thank you very much!

(If only my cartography submissions to Chaosium got as quick a reply!....Ha, I kid I kid...kind of...)

Too bad only one can be picked. But I think all three logos would make great T-Shirt designs!

You know what? I was thinking the same thing! I'd proudly wear all of these! I could see Randy and Ryan's designs using glow in the dark ink with them too!

  3. Greetings everyone, after 20+ years of playing D&D (Actually DM'ed most of that time.) A friend asked if I was interested in possibly starting a COC game, but had no idea where to begin. Well, a week later, I have the 7E Core Rule book, started listening to the HP Lovecraft audio books on my way to work and while working, as well as watching a few live game plays to see how it differs from my typical "medieval" POV.

I think my next step would be finish reading the core rulebook, and then make a character.

Is there anything missing, or anything that could be recommended  to also add to my Lovecraftian knowledge?

    -Thanks!

    Michael

Are there any online live play sessions of CoC 7thE going on where I could either listen in or play in?  I don't have as many opportunities to play in person as I would like and am interested in getting more involved with this game.

    Thanks!

I just listened to a FANTASTIC podcast called: The Call Of Cthulhu Mystery Program. It's probably one of the better produced, played, and entertaining games I have listened to. The game itself is played out kind of like a 20's radio drama. I believe there are eight episodes that run about 45 minutes to an hour a piece. It is definitely worth a listen.
