I couldn't find a better place to put this question: I was making a character to play in Down Darker Trails and I could not find a way to switch the Stats around after the system has generated them. This is a bit restricting, especially as the written rules state that this should be possible. Is there a way to switch around the rolled Stats before proceeding in the character generation and I've just missed it?
That's not currently possible under the 'Classic method' menu option, using the 'Freestyle' method will allow you to allocate the statistic scores as you want.

Best I can think of is to use wordpress.com - you'd have to use the wordpress blog engine/software to author the site. As far as I know you can point a domain you own at the site. If you want anything more 'bespoke' it's going to incur a fee from somewhere.
Using an existing domain with wordpress.com:

I'll be uploading that update today, sorry it's been delayed; was on vacation last week and didn't have the spare time to do the update then.

Good cover, although you might want to check the interior previews. They seem to still be showing the standard book (going on the table of contents really).
The Haunting appears (in the PDF) after the Index - starting pg 435 and doesn't appear in the tale of contents (but does appear listed in the preface)

I bet those Archaeologists have not spent hours kneeling in the mud, in the pouring rain, or washing soil samples when the water freezes when it hits the rim.
They would be more along the lines of Indiana Jones, or the kind of archaeologist who goes to a town, recognises a possible dig site by passing bay, spends a couple of hours digging and finds a tomb full of Mythos artefacts.
Well, I'd rather play in the latter game, wouldn't you?

And the answer is:
Archaeologist is the 6th most popular (1920s) Call of Cthulhu Investigator created via The Dhole's House.Archaeologist (1372)
Police Detective (1317)
Dilettante (1304)
Investigative Journalist (1056)- 2

I'm going to guess Dilettante. Then Investigative Jorunalist, then Archaeologist, then Police Detective.
I'll reveal the answer tomorrow.

I thought it might be interesting to see the most popular Call of Cthulhu occupations for Investigators that were created on The Dhole's House:
Here's the top 5 (1920's era):
Private Investigator (2109)
Professor (1847)
Doctor of Medicine (1811)
Soldier (1454)
Occultist (1388)

I've just updated the site to fix a bug where an investigator with the 'Doctor of Medicine' occupation wasn't being saved with the correct total of occupational skill points. This meant that progress beyond 'age related updates' wasn't possible. I've updated all the affected records with the correct number of skill-points so any affected Investigators can be completed.
Sorry if you were affected by this.

Hi, the automatic SSL renewal didn't happen. I've manually renewed the certificate now. Sorry for any inconvenience.

This is really nice aid for Keepers.
Would it be OK to try and turn this into an aid that could link back to Investigator sheets stored on The Dhole's House? I'm planning a Keeper's section and this would make a great addition to that. I'm envisaging an area that Keeper's can access that would allow their players to cede copies of the Investigator sheets to the Keeper and allocate them to games/campaigns and be up-datable by both Player and Keeper.
