  1. Not quite sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but does anyone know what the thought process is, or may be, regarding the absence of several Chaosium titles/products from drivethrurpg? Or whether there is any chance PDF products will eventually filter out to third party online retailers?

    I'm not too keen on purchasing directly from Chaosium given their past track record (online store security failings and then losing all records of past digital download purchases during their web portal upgrade). I know a lot of people hear different things here, so I hoped someone might know.

    • The Dark Isles (Britain during the Dark Ages)
    • The Dark Isles Companion(Cults and places of the Dark Isles)
    • Legend Sci-Fi (A Sci-Fi conversion of the Legend Rules)

    Definite buys for me when they come out! Wish I could help, but my proofreading skills are rudimentary at best. I could proofread in a stitch for you, for obvious typos, but no remuneration would be required, as I just wouldn't be bringing the grammar skills to bat to call for it. I'd just like to help in any way with moving products, that I happen to want to get my hands on, to the digital shelves of drivethrurpg ;)

    That said, I'm very psyched to see this stuff in the pipeline! ;t)

  2. One of the backers had a few questions for me about the game. Here's my answers to them, which hopefully should give a bit more insight;

    Saw this on Kickstarter this morning and it was pretty helpful, as I often forget the exact differences in the various BRP/RQ/OQ/Legend etc.:tu:

    I hope we make the mini-campaign stretch goal, as I always look for contextual/setting & cultural details or ideas when it comes to far-flung, future games.

  3. Even though I'm looking for something that goes away from many of the classic conventions of the genre, I still picked this up based on the really positive things I've read about it online (both here and other communities). Looking forward to checking it out and raiding bits and bobs for a (probably pipe-dream) game I have in mind of running.

    Ooh, my printer just finished running of a hard-copy of my PDF...sometimes it's good to be the only in the office on a rainy day O:)

  4. Here's the Character Sheet...

    That's a beauty! Thank you yet again.

    Well, I already broke down and bought the main 2300 AD supplement last night from drivethru rpg, if I ever get a shot at a serious chance to run the game, I'll definitely get the products straight from FFE. Speaking of which, does anyone know of any other good 2300 A.D./Traveller fansites or communities they can recommend?

  5. :tu: Thanks! I downloaded it last night, gave it a quick look and was thoroughly impressed. The info presented seemed pretty clear and straight forward and the art definitely adds to the whole feel. Now I just need to pick out the best 2300 AD books for the fluff.

    I'll give it a more thorough look this afternoon, as the office is closed for the storm in the Northeast and I happen to have time on my hands. ;D
