  1. I've been looking forward to Destined for awhile and was curios if it was still slated for the Fall and if there was a more firm date than that?

I completely understand if the Pandemic & the various shipping issues means those answers are still foggy.

I'm just excited to own it.

For Krakeneers only: I have just submitted an "interesting" scenario to Fabian. if you want to see some "heavy hitters" in action with D100, on May 22nd you might have a chance.

I'm out of the loop, what is a "Krakeneer" and who is Fabian?

Spectrum is one of Monica Rambeau's code names (Captain Marvel, Photon, etc). The Pulp redesign for superheroes was built to allow player flexibility to lean into which aspects/powers the superhero they want to focus on.

If you envisioned your Superman with ultra-powerful heat vision, you could do that and not be as strong as someone else who went all strength. Both of you have all the same baseline abilities.

I've been looking forward to your project for awhile, is there a point where the manuscript reverts back to you?

The core of BRP is a simpler mechanic than Legend, with its Combat maneuvers, Action Points, etc.

If you want a leaner game-engine, the advantage goes to BRP.

As others have noted, the new BRP-OGL is a VERY abbreviated game; some even call it "incomplete."  You may find you need to build-out your mechanics some...

If you'd rather use pre-made rules for EVERYTHING (and just slap your own setting into the rules), advantage goes to Legend.

If you feel that either Chaosium or Mongoose (and either BRP or Legend) has more "cachet," more "street cred," then advantage goes whichever way your feelz go.

    Did any of this help?

It did. Thank you. With Delta Green using Legend I feel that BRP's simplicity has been channeled.

It is hardly being disingenuous. You want to make a game off the BRP engine and call it that, you can. We wall off certain rules, certain settings, but if you have something you want to publish that we aren't already doing, you can.Without paying royalties, without us having residual rights. And you get to call it BRP. That may not mean much to you, but it does to many others.

Seems a fair deal to me. Just because the same handful of people are grousing about it and cross-posting about it on multiple forums really doesn't say very much to me.

I have an honest question, why would the BRP OGL be a better option than the Legend OGL with is far less restrictive?

Not yet. Plenty of work to be done on it before we can speculate on release dates,

    Are there any playtest opportunities?
