What does the power of thunder entail? Making loud noises to scare things?

Some versions of the Hill of Gold mention Orlanth stealing Yelmalio's Lightning Spear. Is that supposed to be a javelin, or did Yelmalio also have lightning powers? Because if he did I thought the only Sky god to use lightning was Shargash because he took it from Umath.

I don't recognize many of those islands. I assume one of those islands in the Western Ocean is Brithos but what are the other two, the Vadeli islands? That island between Kralorela and Vithela might be Vormain. Is that island group south east of Jrustela part of Kumanku? 

So how does Daysenerus differ from Yelmalio? Does he offer different powers or is it mostly a cultural difference like Elmalites being Orlathi vs. Yelmalions being Solar?

Perhaps Elmali could get fire powers through a Heroquest about helping Yelm at the first Dawn? Something to do with returning the role of the sun to Yelm and rule over the world to Orlanth. In exchange they allow Elmal to exercise some of their power.

Would Orlanthi even be able to worship Yelm if they wanted to? Dara Happans need to be descended from Yelm to worship him directly, and the Grazelanders can because they've maintained sufficient ritual purity by being Pure Horse People.

If Yelmalions can get their fire powers back from completing a Hill of Gold Heroquest, would Elmali also be able to get fire power from a Heroquest?

Are there going to be separate cult rules for Antirius and Kargzant?
