There has been some speculation online about the updated version of the starter set. Just curious if anyone can answer these:
1) Will the updated starter set include handouts for the Paper Chase adventure? The original starter set only had a small map and no real handouts to show to the players. I thought that was a real missed opportunity for an intro to Call of Cthulhu adventure.
2) Will the updated starter set include a print version of The Haunting scenario (the updated 40th version that's free on Chaosium's website)? Since it's the most iconic CoC adventure, it seems so natural to include it in the starter set. I can't figure out why they wouldn't put it in there. It would add a lot of value to the set.
3) Will the updated adventures be available to purchase separately? I don't know if I want to buy the whole starter set again since most of it is the same, but I'd like to have paper copies of the updated adventures in the new set.
4) Not related to the starter set, but has anyone heard if they are updating the keeper screen for the 40th anniversary?
