Except... RAW don't allow you to shoot a bow from horseback!
I'm not sure that's correct: if you look at Table 7.2, Missile & Thrown Weapons, the Self Bow is listed as being usable mounted.
I had to figure this out because I have a player who's made a character in a similar vein, in his case a riff of the Tristan character from the Clive Owen "King Arthur" film, and so also a mounted archer. (I'm using combat from the Starter Set with KAP5.)
