I also agree that CoC in Foundry works just fine with the "unofficial" module. I prefer Foundry by a long way over other systems which have predatory pricing models and data out of the control of users.
Back to the topic at hand though - there are two problems at the moment for CoC/Chaosium/Foundry as I see it:
Chaosium, for whatever reason - known only to them, are dragging their heels on this - perhaps they could work with or endorse the existing 7E module?
There must be a lot of duplicated effort out there. Since most VTT content is essentially data entry, by not having an official system or modules they are causing Keepers to have to enter the same data that many others must also be entering in order to play?
