Started with D&D in the late 70's - the GW edition of what is sometimes called Basic. And have played every edition except 4th - only out of politeness to the group since AD&D 1e.
Of the games that came in its wake, C&S and Runequest were my favourites (don't get me started on the D&D combat chassis).
I haven't followed RQ since 3ed.
I've played superheroes and SF games but my main interest is "alternative/fantasy-ised history", be it the grit of C&S, the intrigue of Regime Diabolique, the crazy of Deadlands, and of course 1920s Cthulhu.
Systems I can remember playing: D&D, RQ, CoC, Chivalry & Sorcery, Traveller, Bunnies & Burrows, Tunnels & Trolls (and Monsters Monsters), Deadlands (classic & Savage Worlds), Champions, Golden Heroes, Regime Diabolique (ubiquity), Torg (I wish I'd had the cash for all of the source books), various FATE implementations, MERP / RoleMaster.
Current games
Chivalry & Sorcery (3/4/5ed mashup)
Call of Cthulhu (7ed)

My gaming habits are mercurial. RPGs, boardgames, wargaming with historical miniatures and traditional card games all have their moments.
My current focus is on 18xx and CoC.
