  1. I took all of the questions and answers from this thread and created a new wiki page with the consolidated list. It can be found here: http://basicroleplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=166

Unfortunately I wanted to format it better and maybe arrange things into catagories, but I don't have the access to edit it. :o

Also, I am not sure how to link it (or where) from the main wiki site...

    Help? :)

You should be Happy I think Triff did get some security in place I can't edit the Wiki at all.

  2. But the old one was also limited to registered users weren't it?

The thing is that I've heard that users of this wiki-forum software have been troubled with spam, maybe even more so than mediawikis. By setting some sort of posting requirement first, bots can't get at it, and most "hackers" wouldn't bother.

    SGL.

No it wasn't anyway could post without having an account, that was what all the spam was from.

  3. You are right. I feel the same. I reduced my presence on this forum too (and the SJG forum too) because it doesnt pay off. So many annoying people.

I stopped visiting those forums on a constant basis more than a year ago. I was so tired of the people bashing on every RPG.

  4. EDIT: By the way, is there anyone who would object to that anything posted in the forum could be added to the wiki? Maybe I should add a sticky post with rules & information...

One thing I have always thought was anything posted on a public forum is technically Open Content at that point. However I have always asked if I could use someones work either on my personal Wiki or the other Wikis I tend to frequent.

  5. THere were quite a few little companies that used rto produce good stuff back then. Most still exist in some sort of undead state. Judges Guild being another one, and one that would be of interest to RQ/BRP fans.

Judges Guild seems to be focusing on D20 right now, maybe they can persuaded to do other systems also.

  6. FGU (Fantasy Games Unlimited) was the Mohammad Ali of game companies. They put out soe seriously kickass games.

Wild West, Bushido, Aftermath, Flashing Blades, Privateers & Gentlemen, Space Opera, and Villains & Vigilantes (proof that not even Babe Ruth can hit them out of the park every time).

You forgot what I consider their best game ever Daredevils.

  7. So that makes what, ONE adventure for a system that they have been publishing for over a year? While producing how many sourcebooks?

Allow me to update my previous statement:

"....It could be a useful way to tap all those MRQ groups. Especially since Mongoose publishes virtually no MRQ adventures."

So am I to understand this will be a forum that will do nothing but bash on other game systems or companies that are not Chaosium? There is no need for such behavior.

All I was trying to do was point out that there is at this time one Adventure and possibly more coming out later.
