many people used this feature to turn off the page background image for printing and note taking during sessions.

This is an eye saver, as well as an ink saver, for those of us who still print out PDF's, put them in a binder, and then scribble the hell all over them.

As far as electronic versions are concerned, I am always grateful when Chaosium, or others, create ePub versions to go along with the fancy schmancy PDF version.

A man after my own heart!
    This is my gaming-shopping, entirely.

    This is definitely the way.

I'm eagerly looking forward to getting the Starter Kit!

As Chaoisum, with one fell swoop, seemed to reinvigorate and bring back the Starter Kit (I'm looking at you, Free League), I'm glad they are being consistent with bringing out one for Pendragon.

    Well done, sirs!

  3. This is SO smart on Chaosium's part!

I've been preaching the "long tail" POD sermon for years now, and I'm glad they are taking the time, effort and costs associated with reformatting the PDF's for print on demand.

We win, as we get some great older scenarios and source material back in print at reasonable costs, and they win, as it's a nice little income stream that you can "set it and forget it".

Thanks to everyone for their work on this!

    Hi everyone,

Keeper Reflections: Call of Cthulhu Campaigning is very close to Copper Best-Selling Status! This link is good for a limited number of sale copies! Just $1.00 USD!

Inside are photos of my campaign journal, how I developed NPCs that my players liked best, how we got creative with weird tech, and much more!

Last Tuesday, and there have been plenty more before that this year. If you didn't receive them you might want to check your spam folder?

Thank you for responding, Mike; I do appreciate it!

Spam folders checked, junk mail folders checked, all are barren of misplaced newsletters.

Glad to unsubscribe and re-subscribe if someone can provide an unsubscribe link.

I'd hate to be out of the loop, especially with regards to occasional news on Chaosium Con!

    Thanks for any assistance;

Saw the unfortunate, but understandable news in the most recent Chaosium newsletter that the company is temporarily suspending the operations of its Canadian fulfillment centre.

Not to derail, but I'm signed up for the Chaosium newsletter, and I don't think I've received one in quite some time.

Did this newsletter come out recently?

    Thanks!

Regency C'thulhu will dovetail nicely with Colonial Australia C'thulhu in terms of the time.  I suggest all your characters be very well behaved indeed or they may need a long voyage South to visit the Van Demons.

The folks at C'thulhu Reborn have a nice series called Convicts and C'thulhu which could be used to source said Colonial Australia:

  8. Did you see this page?

    https://www.storytellingcollective.com/courses/write-your-first-adventure-gen-nov2022

It gives a day by day listing of what that day's lesson will involve once it's unlocked.
Granted, it only lists the General Path (as opposed to including the Chaosium path), but it should give you a good idea of what you will be learning, the milestones you should hit that would allow you to complete your first scenario within the 30 days.

I took the course a year or two ago, when it was C'thulhu only, and found it to be excellent, as Paul Fricker knows what the heck he is talking about when it comes to Call of C'thulhu and creating a quality scenario.

I didn't keep to the timeline, as things were hectic at best, but once you buy it, it's yours forever to go back to again and again to sharpen your scenario writing skills.

In my opinion, it's well worth the money.

  9. I'll throw my name in here as well, just in case anyone needs a Keeper down here in Florida to work a convention.

    Name: Bill
    Country: USA
City: St. Petersburg, FL (home of the newlywed and nearly dead)

Have my own monthly group that meets at my house.
Also a member of the Live Play group, Into The Darkness on YouTube.
I've run Modern and Gaslight; working our way through "The Night of the Jackals" then heading into some of the Doors to Darkness stuff, before heading out on Shadows or Masks, can't decide which yet.

  10. As a long time pulp aficionado, I am going to buy the HELL out of this book when it comes out. I'm hoping for hardcover, but that's just me.

Who wouldn't want to run a scenario with The Shadow, Doc Savage and The Spider against Fu Manchu and the Cults of C'thulhu?
