I started playing back in the 80's with AD&D and a little original Call of Cthulhu. Lost touch after D&D 2E but came back just in time for 5e. Since then, my desire to reconnect with Cthulhu has grown and have been participating in games for the last 3 gencons as well as trying to get some of my other players on board as well
Current games
D&D 5E mostly with some Call of Cthulhu mixed in. Looking at doing a hybrid of the 2 using Cal of Cthulhu rules for "zero level" characters before they transition to something else

Since coming back to the hobby I have been collecting material so that I can run almost any adventure converted from from any system in one core set of rules. While playing a Call of Cthulhu scenario using 5E rules makes it easier to entice other players, it does lack the nuance that makes the Cthulhu game so great. So I am looking for opportunites to participate in some more pure Call of Cthulhu gaming and helping introduce new players to it.
If you are going to use a virtual table top I would go with Fantasy Grounds over Roll 20. I have used it for D&D, Pathfinder2E, and Call of Cthulhu and it is way easier (at least in my opinion) to use than Roll 20.
