Londra and Londros

In the GMs Adventures Book (from the GMs Screen Pack) there is a family tree of the Coleman "royalty" where you find Londra and her father and grandfathers, both named Londros. They are all from the Talaring Clan. Londra is a cousin of Leika. Londra is described as being from the Temple of the Wooden Sword so she is definitely "the" Londra. This is a RQG book so it is probably as canon as it can be.

But in Sartar Companion (not canon but often correct) her father is cescribed as chieftain of the Arnoring Clan. She is also a member of the Arnoring (Bayberry) clan in her description in Wyrms Footnotes 11. That can of course be changed to fit into new canon. Her father can't be both Taraling and chieftain of the Arnorings.

In the newly released Dragon Pass book (definitely canon) there is a description of the village named Londros. It's the main settlement of the Zethnoring Clan. This village doesn't have to have anything to do with her father (Londros) but she is also called "Londra of Londros" which gives some kind of geographical hint.

To complicate it a bit more. The Arnoring clan are neighbors to the Zethnorings and lives quite close to Londros. The Taraling clan lives in another part of Colymar land.'

A "compromise" can of course be that her grandfather had another named but got the nickname "Londros" from the village. Maybe his mother was an Zethnoring or an Arnoring?

 

I dont expect new canon to be faithful to about PCs from Gregs house-campaign over 40 years ago or to articles in Wyrms Footnotes. But I am curious as she is mentioned in the GMs Pack and the village is the described in the DP book.
