    Hey y'all,

I'm the Paul Fisher mentioned above with a couple casefiles. @jp1885 let me know about this forum and since I just redid my website, here are updated links to my existing casefiles. I'm hoping to have a third, Burning Rage out shortly.

    Hi Paul,

just finished running The Funhouse Bodies and we all had a great time.

Luckily I rolled poorly on behalf of the big bad, else my investigators would’ve been toast!

  2. Take some inspiration from the various CSI TV shows - they’re in the thick of the action all the time!

Also think of ways that the characters’ scientific skills, education and intelligence can be used in non-forensic situations (even if it’s just plain old researching).

    Hello @jp1885

I started my group on The Domestic and The Bookshop, then went on to run a case I wrote myself. The group are loving it and hungry for more. This enthusiasm led me to this thread and I have just played Lollipop, Lollipop which was much enjoyed. Thank you @jp1885  I now have to start downloading some more...

I’m really glad you enjoyed it and I hope you like my other offerings too!

  4. Yeah, I take your point about not having the spells on the player side. Maybe a mix of cool artwork and text boxes with the 4 E's and such interspersed, just to provide inspiration to the players if they get stuck.

Which are the tables and charts you find yourself using the most? I'm getting ready to run this for my family and might throw something together.
I had planned to just print out the relevant pages from the PDF and put them in a folder until Chaosium put something out.

If I was designing a screen, I’d put the various police guidelines (4 E’s, 6 W’s, ABC etc.) on the player facing side, alongside a list of available resources (forensics, CPU, HOLMES, financial etc.) and a basic description of the spells.

On the GM side: a skill table with regular and hard examples plus any opposed skills, summaries of combat and chase rules, damages, weapons and vehicle stats (I suspect my screen would be several sheets of A3!)

    Hullo, jp1885,

Just finished reading your new scenario, "Speed Demons."   Really enjoyed that case file, and can't wait to run it.  Just brilliant! 🙂

Thanks - glad you like it. Please let me know how you get on!
