I started with D&D 3.5. then I ran my own Pathfinder game, then I played at second edition, and have now DMed 5e for 6 years. A total of 11 years DMing. I'm tired of 5e. I found BRP today and I'm really hopeful it's my next long-term ruleset.

I'm currently running a homebrew 5e game which I plan on switching to BRP.

  2. No what I'm trying to do is compile all spells that I can find that have been put out for various BRP systems. What I'm trying to do is get my players up for converting to this system. I want to show them that it can be very robust and complex and fun. I fully realize that we will likely not use the overwhelming majority of these spells. But I would like a large master list of them to pull from and to sell my players on.
  3. Hello All As noted previously in my other topics, I'm super new. Trying to convert my long running DnD campaign to BRP/magic worldesque rules. I'm working to compile two things. One is a master skills list from any and all relevant books and systems. The other is a similar list but with any and all spells. I'm 87 pages into my spells list. Skills are starting now. Before I go nuts diving into this, does anyone have or has anyone published a master list of skills?
  4. Hello all! Still super new to BRP. Excited about it. I'm learning the system right now and in a few weeks I plan on running a 3 or 4 session game for my group to see if we are going to switch permanently. Let them get a feel for it. I would like to have a good number of pre-generated characters so we don't have to teach them to build a character to have this trial game. Is there a good place for pregenerated characters? This would be a fantasy style game, sword and sorcery.
  5. I'm very sick of running 5e. I've been looking for a new rule set to convert to, and I discovered BRP this morning. I just purchased the universal game engine and am excited. While I homebrew most things in D&D and will likely do the same here once I get comfortable, I'm wondering if there are any good beastiaries or monster manuals to pull from. I know there are is a decent number in the rulebook but I would like more of course. While I'm trying to learn the system I would like as much content as possible. Are there any other supplements? Is mythras compatible? I was looking at that when I was turned onto BRP.
