  1. Well that is an long history, but if you only want to count systems that uses d100 for skills then is mutant Chronicles out, it uses an d20. The mutant system used d100 skill resolution up to and including the black box version 1989. From the black box came a supplement called mutant rymd. That supplement spawned what would later become mutant Chronicles.

  2. Hi, got an idea for an campaign this morning when I was doodleing (drawing without a purpose). something in  the lines -Fear the snail-lords!!! Darkages/ iron ages (Xena,  groo and movies Conan barbarian inspired.) bad guys. Cheesy movies and tv series from the 80,90 & 2000.

Raiders, groups (remains of Great armies), nomad/ravager tribes.

    Most feared are:

Snail Raiders, moves around slowly on the backs of gigantic snails. Have small fortress like housing there... Etc etc. So witch system?  runequest 3 for being made at the same time as inspiring series?.

Openquest 2 for it Will probably be the most fitting.

Or Runequest 6 for the combat? Or bàsic roleplaying... And its official I really hate postong with mobile devices..

  3. Hi, im tinkering with an campaign there i will use sorcery and super powers as the power options.

If creating more spells like sorcerers sureness, would it be to much gamebreaking to make spells like sorcerers swordmastery? Except the obvious that it will be a must have for powergamers.

At the same time can they do a permament version with the suerpower superskill.

So is there something else i am overlooking?

  4. I myself have been playing around with giving mutations from the golden book as reward for some deities...

Or give access to psionic powers. All depending the deity.

Don't think there would be an problem, sure getting twice the mp sounds nice, or getting more hit points.

How much help/ power would you give to the player for communicating with his god?

  5. So Putte the sorcerer would need enchantment ritual+ a spell called create skeleton, low sacrifice.

Ljung the shaman would need the same 1 point enchantment + pow sacrifice.

Meanwhile Nana the Priestess could have two variants (depending her religion/world)

One how costs 1pow ( like create ghosts) but only one use. Or/and one that costs 1 point but is reusable?

I'm sorry if I'm seem dumb.. But for some reason I just can't get it, probably only over complicating things.

  6. Hi I am in tenting to understand how the enchantment rules work for the skeletons in runequest 3edition

How does a character NPC create skeletons?

Is it enough to use enchantment ritual and sacrifice the low required?

Can all magic forms spirit, divine and sorcery create them?

  7. I will probably use the forces system, modify it (with help from the golden book)

The different gods will have 2 forces, reprecenting their aspects.

So two cultists can push different aspects of their diety (loving diety, wengeful diety) this means that the "gifts" given to a gods champion will depend on the aspect the character has been "promoting".

For spellcasting will i use sorcery but only for members with great soulforce...(16 pow.), spell grimores will be limited to aapects of the diety.
