I'm really looking forward to Devil's Gulch. I love the concept.
I also love the page count and price point. There is no reason why anyone wouldn't pick this up.

Anyone who entered a scenario in the BRP Adventure or Cthulhu Invictus contests heard anything yet? Last word I had was that Chaosium would make a decision in late July. We're now in mid-August.
That's what I've heard too. When I heard that the monograph was sent for layout, and I hadn't heard anything from Dustin, I just assumed that I didn't make the cut. But if no one else had heard back either, then maybe there is still hope.

I just submitted my western/horror scenario. Fingers are crossed.

Awesome. I'm really looking forward to this.

That's cool man.
I only did some very light research on Rangers and WWII, so if he's a real buff of WWII I hope he doesn't find too many unbelievable flaws in my scenario.
I was shooting for more fun and flash, and less historic realism. It's WWII with psionic powers.

I like how they published my maps in The River Terror. I hope folks enjoy my scenario, Operation: Mind Storm.

Hi guys. Yes, I have a scenario in Plan 09 from Halloween, it's called "The Faculty Party". I haven't finished reading all of the other scenarios yet, but they are all so cool. I can't wait to run them.

I submitted a WWII with psionics scenario.
The players are US special forces with psychic powers going against a recently discovered Nazi camp where they are attempting to also develop psychic powers.

I'm just curious. This is my first contest to enter with Chaosium, and I'm not sure what to expect from them if my submission is rejected. Will I get a rejection letter, or will it be just quietly rejected and I only discover it for myself when the press release for the final product is issued?

So I just completed my submission for the 2009 BRP Adventure Contest, and I just emailed it into Dustin, so there is no turning back now.
Would anyone like to play my adventure?
My adventure is WWII based; the players are members of X-Ray Company, an elite special forces Rangers unit. And, not only are you Rangers, but you also have psychic abilities!!!
I will run the game over at RolePlay onLine! Welcome to RPoL.
So, anyone want to play?

Wow!!! I am really looking forward to this.
Has Dustin given any kind of indication what a "monster" sized monograph will cost? Will it have a "monster" price tag?

I'm looking for people who have a group they can either play a game with or at least peruse the rules and look for issues. If you don't have a group, but still want to contribute, you can read the material and offer feedback on rules implementation and such.
Yeah, I'd love to take a look. Thanks.

Since it seems like Chaosium is running fairly regular adventure contests, would the moderators here consider opening a new forum, or sub-forum, dedicated just to the adventure creation contests?
I know I would love to have a centralized location where I could go to find links to contest announcements that I may have missed, and a localized place where I could discuss and brainstorm with other folks who are working on adventures for the contests too.
What do you think?

Yes, I too have very little time to game outside of the house. Even if the gamers came to my house, we wouldn't have the available time to really dig in on a regular basis. So, I am now an avid PbP player on RolePlay onLine! Welcome to RPoL.
I'm running an original CoC adventure, and I'm playing in a Star Wars game.

I am currently working on my submission.
It is a WWII setting, the players are Special Forces Rangers, but they are an even more elite group, because they have psychic abilities. The Psi-Arms Race has begun, and the US wants to ensure that they are the only ones to have that advantage once they get wind of a Nazi movement to also develop psionics.

Are you looking to run the game via a play-by-post site like Role Play Online dot net? If so, I'd love to be a player.
If you're looking for folks to run playtest games in their local area, then I can't. I've got a brand new son, so all of my playing is currently play-by-post.

I've heard that this is finally laid-out and is going to print. Has anyone heard if their adventure is in it?
