I cannot provide more details, but a major goal has been to re-establish goodwill with the Moorcocks.

I think you should hurry. Moorcock and also his fans are not young ones and the audience for Stormbringer is slowly fading away like dust in the wind. And with newer systems in the RPG-World the chance for release of the old stormbringer is becoming only a wish of few survivers, I'm afraid

It was written as a filler when I got writer's block for something else. also, it had to be a certain size to fit in with Mongoose's structure.

I do like Mythras, but hate having to ask for permission to write something. I fully understand why TDM has a license agreement but I find that writing stuff without having to check whether I can publish it suits me better. Also, I prefer the Legend ruleset to Mythras, but not by much.

    That is a shame.

I had no control over the graphics, unfortunately.

As to open questions, that is how I tend to GM anyway, so that is probably my style.

I have been thinking of redoing it. My intention was to always add the Mammoth Steppe and explore the Red Men more.

My experience with sourcing artwork for Jonstown Compendium might mean I could do my own layout and graphics. However, it would not just be a rewrite, it would need tearing apart and redoing from scratch.

After your very complete and long answer - thank you for it - I owe you an answer. I think you should rework it and maybe - give it several solutions to play. Pure Iceage (how it could happened), a alternative reality way and a pure fantasy way. This brings more people to this fantastic period. I think Dreamlands was an opener for a bigger audience to Cthulhu, because all these tied content to the real world was expanded with the power of dreams and fantasy. The severals kind of ways in the dreamlands were also a great thing. I bought this small game "polyomythic" from Osprey Publishing. Great idea, very poor system (I tried the fightings rules and the results were terrible and boring) and a fantastic world. A lot of great ideas. Your book is great, but I missed the last steps of the race. But this is my personal feeling. I can't say anything about the License agreements of TDM, but I think as a small company they look for good supplements. And an expanded Iceage-Book is great, I think

Unfortunately true about the Stone Age roleplaying (I bought Land of Ice and Stone, BTW). There are interesting rpg settings, and there are the ones your players will agree to play in..

I think it would work with Mythras and more background. I bought it and was a bit dissapointed. Poor graphic and a lot of open questions. With a bit more content and information it would work

  4. Chaosium is not a reliable company when you see their realeres. I always waited for new material for Cthulhu. In the moment I am in the comfortable situation, that I am german and Pegasus is releases constant and good. But the audience for Runequest is to small and will become smaller, when the release is not coming in the near future I‘m afraid. Promises without releases is not helping a small product like Runequest glorantha.
