I assume you still have access to the other digital extras, but I have no way of confirming that.
Oh right, is that the way that it's supposed to work? You buy the print edition, and you get some of the digital content? That's cool. I'll give it a go (when I'm back from holiday, don't want books getting wet on the doorstep).

If I just buy the printed book, what am I missing from the digital version?

Not a text issue, but the file name is inconsistent with prior volumes:

Good news!!!
Both qualities look the same on your pictures. Is there a major difference?
The greens in the top book do look a little more vivid in the first picture.

I ask for a "cartesian" canon on any divinity not based on ~1624 gloranthan cults or organizations but something only defined by the game designers.
Something I , you , we, they may appreciate or not (I would prefer that X is a mask of Y, they disagree that Yelmalio and Elmal are the same, you see Mastakos and Jmijie as two different entities when David see them as different aspects of the same god, blablabla)
The problem with that is, Glorantha was not invented to be a game. It is an experimental mythology. It's ambiguous and mutable. It's a thunderstorm, but you want a photograph of a lightning bolt. Scenarios can provide such a photograph, something definite with a predefined menu of consequences (that you can of course scribble on and change, if you wish), but another campaign or scenario might reveal a subtly different truth.

Mastakos travels across the sky in 8 hours and immediately re-appears at the Gates of Dawn.
Is this cycle synchronized to the 24 hour day, and if so, do we know how the cycle is scheduled? Does it start at dusk, when the Gloranthan day is usually said to start? If so then do you get two traversals of the sky during the long winter nights and one during the summer?

Is there a "standard" casting time for ritual spells?
For example, Lock and Passage are ritual spells but I can't find how long it takes to perform the ritual.
*Edit* Ah sorry found it in the Rune Magic Q&A on The Well. I had looked under the Magic Q&A.
QuoteRitual spells generally take one hour to cast per point of the spell. However, the gamemaster may be flexible about this...

I have started pruning older versions. Generally I am keeping only the last of each numbered version available, because if I'm aware of a specific issue then I will fix it in a new beta. If you are using an older version for a specific reason and I have deleted it, then please let me know and I will see what I can do. But really you should be saving a blank copy in your own Drive account and cloning that.
Here's a version with JC content pre-enabled:

I love this phrase! A nice euphemism for "Gregged".
A deity with change powers is allowed to change, right?

- The GM book and the Card Set are also top priorities.
The "Card Set" is not on the list - is this the Spell Cards? Still happening?

- Spryness is from the Travelling Stone which is a broken piece of Larnste who is now embodied by Mastakos.
Is Travelling Stone going to make it into one of the volumes? I see on The Well that it was in the preview.

You don't need the Rune to have it cast on you (Jmijie has the Movement Rune). If you take Fleetfoot as Pamalt initiate, like all associate cult spells - you'd need to improve the relevant Rune affinity, in this case Movement.
I guess this is like Issaries getting Analyze Magic from Lhankor Mhy, but Issaries doesn't have the Truth rune.
The restriction does imply that it's a Pamalt spell, though, but now we know better.

First, if a Warrior or Hunter dropped their POW to 4 to obtain gobs of Rune Magic, would you tell them "sorry, you can't perform your duties, because your Protection or Speedart spells are unlikely to work"?
There's no requirement for a hunter or warrior to have a high POW.
Offtopic, but lets say you do roll 4 for your POW, and you're using a strict as-rolled character creation system. What occupation do you take? Certainly not Apprentice Shaman, Philosopher, or Priest, but all the others are open to you.

Moving whilst actually passing through the intervening space? How terribly mundane!
But yes, good point, Mobility is the only physical speed buff they get. Fleetfoot is an obvious choice. To me, the Proteus and Meld Form really came out of leftfield, I didn't know that Mastakos was a shapechanger. Sure, Movement is also the Change Rune, so there's space for shapechanging abilities in a Movement-based deity.
Anyone know the mythical source of his shapechanging?

Big Bill did really well in the adventure, so if you want to play through it once and get the most out of it, take a combat monster in. The other approach, as I said, is to just play through it multiple times, either with the same character or with clones or variants to explore more possibilities.
Another process question - what is the long footprint path for on the tracker? Are you supposed to write the fragment numbers on it, so that you can avoid making multiple identical choices?

The local library has one, but the computer hasn't got enough RAM to print a double-sided A3 PDF.

What kind of paper are you using, and how long are you waiting after print to use the sheets?
I've tried normal printer paper and higher quality matt paper. Usually they are used weeks after prtinting.

There's one place (310) that says " ADD the keyword MOON to your tally." Does that mean the same as " Add one to your tally for the keyword MOON"?
If you "note down the current fragment number" and go to an encounter, then return to the fragment, does that mean to repeat it from the start? I assume so but that confused me for a while.

I've played through Redfeather Dreaming, the solo adventure for ducks, twice now. It's a lot of fun, very well put together, highly recommended.
I created two characters, neither of which were heavily combat-focused, and my advice is: don't do that! If you don't have decent combat skills and damage, and at least moderately good armour, it's going to be a short journey! Still worth doing, so don't let me put you off, but if you want to enjoy all the content then you will need to run through it several times.
I've now created an absolute combat monster character - they even have a damage bonus!
Fortunately the duck character in my campaign, who I will run it for as a one-on-one, is a Humakti and so can look after herself in a fight so she should do okay.

I'm using an Epson ET-8550 to print character sheets, but writing on them is a disaster. Rubbing out pencil marks makes a mess of the printing!
Any tips on how to improve this experience? Fixing spray maybe, or would that just be worse?
