Automation depends on what platform a person is using. I have many more automation solutions on my Mac than on Windows. So creating a system that takes, for example, a Markdown file and creates a Wordpress post and then syndicates that post to social media is simpler on the Mac. The platform that you use to host/generate the blog also has an important impact.
