Chaosium is coming to SXSW Sydney's Games Festival. Our team will be in Sydney Australia from Thursday October 19th to Sunday October 22nd, with an actual play show, a panel, and a weekend of game demos!

Fortress Sydney Alienware Arena, 8:30-10:30PM Thursday October 19.

Cthulhu comes to SXSW Sydney! Join us for a live actual play of mind-bending horror and maybe just a few laughs. The Stream of Chaos leads a group of players, including special guests, through a tale of 1920s cosmic horror

Published by Chaosium, Call of Cthulhu is the world's best game of horror, mystery, and investigation. In this tabletop roleplaying game, ordinary people are confronted with the machinations of the Cthulhu Mythos. Set in the 1920s, the modern-day, or beyond, players portray investigators of the unknown—decent folk taking a stand against the terrors of the night despite the costs to their sanity and their lives. Only they can save humanity and the world from unthinkable horror.

JMC Academy Auditorium, 2:30-3:30 Friday October 20.

Industry veterans discuss the dichotomy of games writing between development of digital and tabletop games, as well as the modern state of games journalism.

With Chaosium's Brian Holland (moderator), Leena Van Deventer, and Jess Zammit.

Mercure Sydney Grand Ballroom, 11AM-9PM Saturday October 21, 11AM-4PM Sunday October 22.

New to tabletop roleplaying games? Or maybe you’re “done with the dungeon” and want to try something different? Chaosium's award-winning TTRPGs are praised as being some of the most engaging and innovative of all time – come and try Call of Cthulhu (horror), RuneQuest (bronze age fantasy), Pendragon (knights of the Round Table) and Rivers of London (modern urban fantasy).

We’re running one hour demo games throughout the show, starting every 2 hours. No experience needed, we provide everything you need! Plus you'll be able to buy selected Chaosium TTRPG releases from our friends at Aetherworks.
