Reputation

For those people using reputation in game, do you have a single reputation for each character or do you go for multiple ones for different areas, planets, galaxies. 

Just thinking about how to code it.

I have a location-based system in a historical (early 17th century) setting:

- One may have either positive or negative facets to their reputation as well as total score. (Paris: positive:20, negative 15, total 35)

- Neither type of Reputation usually transfers to geographically distant locations (such as London or Rome), unless the character gets a letter of introduction from their beneficiary to some local power.
