Dredj Posted October 23, 2008 Share Posted October 23, 2008 Hey, I went to a presentation by Loraine Warren, subject of this book: Amazon.com: The Demonologist: The Extraordinary Career of Ed and Lorraine Warren: Gerald Brittle: Books and I thought it would be good to recommend this book to anyone who plays CoC or any other horror setting. This is the "last word" in demonology and explains everything that happens when a demon is going to possess a person. I actually read this book about ten years ago. I still think it's the most terrifying book I've ever read (and I LOVE horror). The late Ed Warren and his surviving wife Loraine are actually hoaxers, or are just people who just don't bring too much scientific validity to their investigations. But, despite that, this book is still the very best book on demonology ever written, as well as the most frightening. It is a superb resource for horror role playing.
