Cheat sheet for players?

Recommended Posts

The back of the character sheet has a quick reference on skill rolls, pushing skills, damage and healing.  The keeper let's them know what to roll and when. What else do they need to reference regularly during play?

It's about presenting the options to the players that they have under the rules. If they don't understand pushing a roll, or don't know about burning luck, they can't or won't take those options. The quick reference is really only good for someone with at least a passing knowledge of the rules to start with.

"You fiddle with the lockpicks but nothing happens. Would you like to push the roll?"

 " How do I do that? "

"Pushing let's you try a second time, if you can justify it but the penalties for failure are higher. if you fail the second roll, there's a good chance you will be seen."

 "Oh, thanks."

An informed helpful keeper is better than a reference sheet, but I'm sure you could make a reference sheet fairly easily if you feel it's needed
