That’s not what the announcement said. It said: “While we address the concerns of the tabletop gaming community we have halted our plans for future NFT releases.” While we X we have Y. So once you’re done addressing the concerns of the tabletop gaming community, then what? More NFTs?

Fine forget the contract details. Tell us Chaosium is never going to do NFTs again.

Well, that’s me done with Chaosium.

This difference being you end up with a thing to hang on your wall. NFTs are a unique link to a jpeg. The same jpeg can have dozens of other “unique” links to it. It’s not a scam like speculating on actual paintings (modern art and all that), it’s a scam in the sense that it’s a literal Ponzi scheme.

The above is corporate speak for maybe we will, maybe we won't but either way we're waiting for the bad press to die down. I'm not buying books from Chaosium until they explicitly say they're done with the NFT ponzi scheme for good.

That would be really disappointing and definitely price me way out. Well then, here's to hoping this will bring some of this stuff into print outside the Kick for a time so the rest of us can pick up the bits we want.

So will we be able to pick and choose which components we can get? Can I get just the box with the original books and map or is it everything pictured or nothing?
