  1. I didn't know these two scenarios existed till now. Apparently from the write up on rpg.net they were a three part Traveller set of scenarios converted to WB. They were published in issues 7 and 9. The last scenario "Dogs of War" was never published.

    There is also an article called "Sher'tazi ... A Closer Look", in issue number 1 of Vortext that looks interesting. I would love to track these down.

  2. Hey if your "Freedom Fighters" know their terrain and etc, they can be quite deadly with old stuff and primitive tech weapons. Plus the primitive type weapons don't show up on scanners either. Just remember Vietnam.

    Yes if the players are 2nd or 3nd generation colonists, the planet will be their home. That will give the rebels an advantage over the invaders. Sniping and ambushes will be very useful.

  4. I will have to post my Planet of Adventure aliens (Pnume, Chasch and Dirdir), converted from a Traveller article in The Space Gamer sometime. Typing it all up is time consuming.

    APPLICABLE SKILL: Handgun (projectile)

    COST: 150 stars; ammunition costs 2 stars per 16 round magazine; illegal in Known Space save for ARM/military use.

  6. If anyone is interested, these weapons, for the Ringworld setting could be adapted for use as non penetrating shipboard weapons.:)

    Laspistol=Pistol,Laser Ammo 30

    Lasgun=Rifle,Laser Ammo 60

    Boltpistol=Pistol,Plasma Ammo 15 STR/DEX 11/7 Attk 2 or Burst

    Boltgun=Rifle,Plasma Ammo20 STR/DEX 12/7 Attk 2 or Burst

    Flamer= Flamethrower

    Armor

    Flack=Adaptive Mesh Only chest

    Carapace= Assault armor

    Force Field= Energy Armor

    Equipment chart for troppers.

    Always Knife Flack Helmet 15% chance for Carapace
