Rq2 thin box set - what color of the rulebook are in these boxes?
Was there ever printed a green/brown/red color rulebook with old logo?
Was there ever printed an orange or other color rulebook?Answers:
Brown, green, or red.Full color.
No.
No.
My notes match with Rick's 99%. I have a different order for the color variations in the 2" boxes (brown, green, red), but I don't have them in front of me to verify.

I'm not happy to have been right, that's for sure.
I'll still buy a copy when it comes out!

This may not be the best time to launch a project. A lot of people's disposable income is vanishing.
Then again, maybe you need the income, so it's totally understandable.
Just a thought.

Yeah, I just checked and three and four both have test printings, as I still have mine. These were given to contributors, apparently, which is why I still have mine. I still have my 1st print of issue 1 as well, but it looks like I'm missing my normal printing of #3, as all I have left is the test print copy. Oh well, ain't like I use anyway, but it's nice to have a "complete" set.
That's neat! Would you be able to share a picture?

That would be news to me! I've seen only the first two.

I thought that supplement never got published...
It was. I have it. (But note that it was Legend, not MRQII.)
I forget if it's rare because of low print run or loss of Elric license (or both), but if you didn't get it when it came up, it's a tough one now. Probably on par with Chaosium monographs, actually.

It's less a first printing and more of a prototype/test printing. Issue 2 has a grey version as well.

I think occult could be useful if the Keeper uses horrors that are not from the Mythos like an "ordinary" vampire of werewolf.
This. One also gets the bonus effect of the Mythos being more special if it isn't encountered every scenario.

I agree, take CoC, strip out the supernatural, and you're pretty much there. The hard part is creating good adventures. GURPS Mysteries is obviously not BRP, but it's the best gaming resource on the subject.

I have them, but they are in storage at the moment, so I can't tell you too much about contents. They come up from time to time on eBay. They don't tend to sell too high, but if a couple collectors are looking that day, they can do okay. Issue 6 is generally more common than the others.

A friend picked up the preview books for me at Gen Con. The Gods books were signed and numbered (edition of 40 apparently), but the Magic book was only signed. Anyone hear how big the print run was for that one?

There was a Pendragon line of minis back in the day: http://www.miniatures-workshop.com/lostminiswiki/index.php?title=Pendragon_(Lance_%26_Laser)

You may be able to help, is it The Reston version (hardback, dust cover) or Chaosium (softcover, reprint)
if it's the first edition, does it say who the cover artist is, and what colour is the hard cover?
I have both versions, but they're in storage at the moment. Happy to check once I get everything out of there.

There are more variations than those, depending on what you feel counts. See my post at https://www.acaeum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=296537&c=1#p296537

In a world of dragons and magic, you choose for Glorantha to have Earth-like sexual dimorphism. YGMV, but there is no particular reason that has to be so for everyone's game. Which is one of about a zillion reasons that Chaosium likely chose to skip this.

It would be even better as an "errata" PDF.
Yeah, this definitely should be in an easily downloadable format.

I'd rather see new material.

That's good in theory for those of us who like print. But if you bought a pdf first, and now choose to buy print, you're paying extra. That kind of stinks.

Related: Are the Nocturnal forums (at least the Pendragon related ones) officially closed for good? One less place to check if so.

Very pretty. Very pricey.

The MASKS OF NYARLATHOTEP special Leatherette Edition is now available! This is a Chaosium.com exclusive - the Leatherette edition will not be available in retail distribution. $USD299.99.
Can you explain the price point of the limited edition at all? It seems high compared to other recent limiteds (RQ, CoC 7E).

We have chosen to update some 7th edition products to the new standard layout if they had a much more dated layout.
Can you expand on that, Rick? Are there two versions of some 7E books, or are you talking about books updated to 7E from earlier editions?

Ebay is your only hope. One will show up eventually. Alas, it won't be cheap.
