  1. Update: they're up to 106 figures for Vampire and above pledges, including translucent elementals and fire effects - included! This doesn't even take into account the extras available, including a dragon with a 12" wingspan for $10, and they've added another pair of dragons for $15 as the next stretch goal.
  2. Just wanted to let everyone know that Reaper Miniatures is running a Kickstarter campaign to expand their new line of fantasy miniatures, Bones. Reaper Miniatures Bones: An Evolution Of Gaming Miniatures by Reaper Miniatures — Kickstarter They are up to 97 miniatures at the $100 pledge level, with options for 2 fire giants, 2 frost giants, a large dragon or 3 large figs (ettin, ogre and another gnoll) for $10 per option. Also, 2 paint sets (12 colors each) for $18 per, 20 large orcs for $25 and a big hard-shell miniatures case (holds over 100) for $25. On top of all this, shipping is free to the US and Canada, and doesn't stack for the rest of the world. It really is a bargain and getting better all the time.

  4. Looking for an update on this...
  5. Using B2 Keep on the Borderlands as an example, which NPCs would you say need the full treatment? So far I've only done the residents of the Keep and am up to about 16 extra pages of write-ups (currently in a separate document).
  6. What would a summarized stat block for NPCs or monsters look like for BRP/CF? You know, the old ones that used to appear in the middle of the modules. Examples: Taverner (AC 9, LVL 0, hp 6, #AT I, D 1-6, ML 8) Guard (AC 4, F 1, hp 7, #AT 1, D 1-6, ML 10) Kobold (AC 7, HD V2, hp 3, #AT 1, D 1-4, MV (40’) Save NM, ML 6) Obviously HP, but skills and stats too? What else would be needed on the fly? Or would it make more sense in CF to put them all in their own section at the end?
  7. Actually, back to your point, I couldn't agree more. I've been wanting to run dungeon crawls using HirstArts terrain and BRP and CF are the perfect system to do it!
  8. Does anyone here have either the Basic Creatures book or any of the All the World's Monsters volumes? If so, How many, if any, of the entries would work/be compatible with Classic Fantasy/old school D&D? Just hoping that some of the Monster Manual conversion work has already been done before (or close enough). Thanks
  9. I just logged in to ask that very question! I want to do a mash-up of this, Dungeon Bash and HirstArts terrain...
  10. Assuming a human(oid) with a weapon, say a sword, how could he get two attacks at 300%, or is that just for situations like critters with claw/claw/bite, for example?
  11. I'm slightly confused about one aspect of this rule (Page 198, BGB). First column, 6th paragraph, last sentence: "An attack cannot be split to attack the same target twice - the attacks must be against separate targets." Let's assume you have 3 attacks. Is the line above saying that if you are fighting only one opponent you can only use one of the attacks?
  12. Thanks for the info, everyone. I've downloaded the image-free versions. I don't know that I really care about the versions with the images (though I appreciate how much work it must have been). I'm actually more comfortable with 'old-school' rules sets, where if there were any illustrations at all they were b/w line drawings...
  13. In the downloads section I see 3 chapters of a Middle Earth conversion for BRP but can find no other information about it. Is this a monograph in the works? Is it still being developed? Is there (or will there be) more of this available? Enquiring minds want to know!
