Really? All I found was this... no skills, no hit locations just some basic stats. It seems every component of the character sheet needs to be added by hand. I've only loaded Foundry up as it has an RQ module so this could be user error and inexperience on my part... Where did you find the PC template for humans please?
What version of the system do you have installed? Newer versions have basic character sheets in the Wiki which is a separately installed module.

There is already player character template for humans. You just need to copy that and edit it for new characters. Beaty (and flaw if not implemented) is that Foundry will automate lot of things that Roll20 does not. In example that picture Makarios scored critical hit. You can automatically press "max Special damage" to get damage numbers, you get automatically experience marking corresponding skills. Target can just add that damage to whatever hit location was rolled, and vtt will reduce all armor (not from crit, but normal) from it, etc. Another neat feature of it is that when you create example some monster template. It has current stats and how they are calculated -> when you drag and drop it to scene/map, Foundry automaticvally reroll those and you now have automatically small variety in monsters.
I tested both Roll20 and Foundry and decide to do my "starter set" campaign in Foundry (In Forge actually, but it is just cloud service for Foundry) as it is more complete even in its current state. Roll20 is just basically character sheet.
Some clarification. On Roll20 community sheet creators are basically locked out of using compendiums. The Roll20 sheet displays all the result of the the attack and the range of damage possible based on the roll result Success/Special.Critical and the hit location with one button click.

Ok slowly but surely figuring things out got the people getting their characters entered, gear, skills, passions everythign working well so thank you for the assitance with the questions so far. One last thing I havent resolved is when they drag their cult to the character sheet it defaults them as a lay member, and they cant select cult rne magic. I can not seem to find a way to change them to an inititate, or for later a rune lord/ priest.
Lastly is there a specific forum or discord location that the people who are updating the foundry wiki's monitor to ask questions and get help from? As always thanks for any info you can point me too.
Off the top of my head right click where it says Lay Member and select edit cult

Oh man, thank you that would be more than enough, I just want to get a feel for the eventual investment given that it's a serious purchase due to exchange rates.
Just enough to see how it works and get a sense of how it compares to Roll20 would be great!I sent you a message via your website.

As a related thing, can anyone who's running RQG on Foundry invite me for a quick session so I can check it out personally and decide if I should switch?
I could show you the basics but I don't have time to setup a one shot on anything like that.

You will also need the wiki content module that can be installed with https://github.com/sun-dragon-cult/fvtt-module-wiki-rqg/releases/latest/download/en-module.json. This goes under Add-on Modules not Game Systems.

I am looking at setting up Foundry VTT for my campaign. I was trying to find/ figure out how to add the sun dragon cult link from above and the required Wiki to the foundry. I tried searchign for premium content runequest, or wiki but was able to find exactly what I needed can anyone point me to where i can access that or add it to foundry? Thanks in advance.
Click Game Systems then click Install System
and paste this link https://github.com/sun-dragon-cult/fvtt-system-rqg/releases/latest/download/system.json into the Manifest URL
If this doesn't work there is another more manual way of doing it.I am not sure why this buried under a tutorial https://foundryvtt.com/article/tutorial/

I am planning to be running Rainbow Mounds fairly shortly.
It’s quite nostalgic, because I ran the original, not long after its release, not quite (but almost) the first scenario I ever ran as a referee, and have never returned to it since.
I very much like the update to it in the Starter Set.
I’ve never quite understood how the entrance worked. From the description “Giant’s Table is a double ‘T’ formation, the cave mouth lying between the upright legs”. Which made me imagine that the entrance went down.
But clearly the entranceway is into the cliff face, running horizontally.
I suppose that might mean the table was against the cliff. I don’t know why, but I’d find it slightly disappointing if the table were not free standing, so I was thinking of having the table at the top of the cliff, and the cave entrance at the base of the cliff. Perhaps the cave is actually at the bottom of a narrow, but deep chasm, which runs between the legs of the table, which might be impressive.
My campaign, being in Balazar, needs one or two tweaks to the hook, but not so very much.
Even though I last run it so *very* long ago, I still remember it being a bit of a D&D style dungeon clear out, people charging in with swords blazing, killing everything and picking the place clean.
So, I was thinking that perhaps Rastolf remembers a bit more, which might help the players stop and think this time.
If he tells tales of unending sleeplessness kept in terror by the sounds of distant roars and cries and battle, and other strange sounds forever echoing around the caverns, and how his captors trod carefully, wary of ancient denizens that dwelt deep in the earth, perhaps that might make the players think a bit more about what else might be there. Maybe he might even remember a poor unfortunate trollkin being thrown into an underground river as a sacrifice to appease something terrible, and hearing its screams as it was dragged underwater.
Lastly, I have excellent fortune of having a duck in the party. I’m not sure how it would work out if they tried to swim through the underground streams. Badly, if they bumped into Cha’resk. But the adventure is written on the assumption that an adventurer swimming them isn’t a viable option. However, I suspect it would still be madness, since they’d have to take off armour, have no light source, and the only usable weapon being their shortsword. Hmm, I wonder what the newtlings do for light when they’re swimming the streams. Maybe I’ll add a stash of glowstones.

Voted. The guy who created the sheet played in a game I ran for a while. Something happened and his work was taken from him … not clear on the details, but I know they guy who created it is no longer maintaining or managing it officially, although he fixed a couple of things we spotted when we played.
The RuneQuest sheet is probably the only sheet I would not automatically refuse to do any support for but I no longer have a Roll20 PRO subscription so development is nearly impossible. Developing sheets on Roll20 become more and more of a chore with unannounced and poorly documented backend changes and Roll20 making it seem like everything new they added, like the Night mode, Printable Character Sheets and the Roll20 Character Sheet tool, would automatically appear on all sheets.
Roll20 sheet authors have no ownership of sheets and they are essentially public domain here is the source for the sheet https://github.com/Roll20/roll20-character-sheets/tree/master/RunequestGQS- 2

By support Roll20 means that you will be able to edit your character without having to to go into a game. It does not mean they will be doing tech support for the sheet or any development on the sheet apart from making it available to Roll20 characters tool..

Interestingly, a bison can run faster than a horse and jump higher as well. I suspect horses are faster over long distances, but in the short run, a bison can run down a horse.
If a bison is faster strong, larger, and has better meat why are they less than half the cost of a horse?
-
Core rulebook:- "Price is based on the cost to purchase the item in any large city in Dragon Pass"
Weapons & Equipment:- "Goods from Prax purchased within Dragon Pass cost 100% of their normal price"A horse is 65L (a large horse 75L) a Bison is 30L and High Llama is 55L so why bother with a horse?

At the local site maintained by their Master Hunter. It's a nomadic cult so nothing permanent. As Waha, Yinkin and Odayla are associates, in larger temple of those.
I am talking about gaining new rune points not regaining existing ones or can you gain new Rune points at an associates temple? If you can sacrifice POW at an associate temple can you also sacrifice POW after casting Sanctify?
-
If not where do initiates and Master Hunters sacrifice power to gain Rune Points ?

Progress on the setting and character builders. I’m having to build them side by side as the options in setting builder affect the options in the character builder. I’m probably about 1/8th done with the initial development of these two sections.
Shouldn't this be in a separate thread as the OP was regarding Foundry

So Orlanth is usually depicted as having four arms nowadays, yet there's no game mechanical means of replicating this. How would a devoted Orlanthi do this? Is it not something that there's a well defined means of achieving in Glorantha, only available to heroes who have found a way through questing?
Don't they just represent his four magic weapons so wouldn't having the rune spells Lightning Spear, Sandals of Darkness, Scarf of Mist and Shield of Arran fulfill this. https://wellofdaliath.chaosium.com/why-does-orlanth-have-multiple-arms/

Roll20 doesn't even have BRP in their "we are playing" box for campaign advertisement or a character sheet for the BGB. Missed opportunity really, a lot of younger players' first experience with RPGs is online because the barrier to entry is so much lower.
There is a BGB BRP sheet but it is not great. Implementing BGB BRP on a VTT is a nightmare because of the multitude of options.
What appears in the "Playing Any of These Games" or "Playing" fields are at the whim of what the staff feel is cool such as games like Maid

Does anyone know where things are for Runequest VTT on Foundry or Fantasy Grounds? I had been following the guy doing the FG version, but he seems to have lost interest in completing this.

Zero chance of this being done. What the PR department of Roll20 fail to mention is that this would require a completely new layout for the sheet. A rewrite that would, according to their advice, have to support every page size on the planet, which their Official D&D 5e sheet fails to do.

The fix appears to be live now. Toggle the 1/2 default checkbox to reset the skill value.

Incapacitated and shock are the same thing see page 148 especially the top of the right column. Although it could maybe argued that fearshock in the bestiary could be included. RuneQuest doesn't have hard coded list of conditions like D&D and some other games.

Thanks and @dvdmacateer too. Is it this one:
I hadn't been on the Chaosium Runequest Sandbox for a while - I will have a poke around and see how you did that.
Many thanks
That looks like the default Roll20 roll template. As far as I am aware the Chaosium Runequest Sandbox is a game set up by @StephenMcG were they setup macros. I am talking about the actual source code of the RQ:Glorantha Roll20 Community Sheet.

@RandomNumberI play a variation of the rules and have been pushing things onto a sandbox site created for users here. You would be welcome to ask to join, steal what's there and ask for tips on doing other stuff.
The character sheet us great but ties you into rules as presented. It is not hugely difficult to make roll20 do most of what you want...
The Roll20 source is on github if you have a pro account you can create a custom sheet and make any changes you want.

It's a Beta
I most thank GIMP's awful UI and text editor for the time I lost just to add some text to an image.
