Duff Posted August 5, 2023 Share Posted August 5, 2023 (edited) I'm creating floorplans (battlemaps if you like) of the Cradle decks and was hoping to get help from the hivemind. I'm using the original maps as templates and will be sticking to the classic layout, though I am giving the cradle a more oval shape to reflect Kalin's wonderful images in Prince of Sartar. The hull is carved out of a single giant tree and the decks then added later but no description of how the decks are constructed is given. So my first question is, do we think the decks are made from giant planks of wood, single sheets for the entire decks, or more human scale planks? I want it to look properly "giant" and alien, I'm worried that giant planks will just make it look like a normal scale boat that's been enlarged, but normal sized planking wouldn't be right for a giant made craft.
