Tirapheg
I just watched a Youtube video detailing the latest iteration of the BGB. There seems to be a situational modifiers chart in the new one that the old one lacks. Could anyone please tell me what new stuff is in the later version? 😁
g33k
A good start to be found here: https://www.chaosium.com/blogbasic-roleplaying-universal-game-engine7-changes-in-the-new-edition/ IMO, the new ORC licensing terms comprise an even-bigger difference. There's already at least one brand-new BRP-based RPG (and more coming!) because of the new license. 2 Quote C'es ne pas un .sig
Tirapheg
I'll have to pick up the pdf from drivethrurpg. Then I can photocopy any charts and insert them in my old BGB. 😁

If you later decide to upgrade to a print copy bought through them, Chaosium will credit you the cost of the PDF. 2 1 Quote C'es ne pas un .sig
Tirapheg
Did they stat up the antimatter grenades, mentioned in the original BGB but not statted in that version, in the new version? 😁 Edited December 9, 2023 by Tirapheg

I would use 8d10 for damage, given the related weapons on the same table. Edited December 9, 2023 by g33k Quote C'es ne pas un .sig
