More Archeology /Reenacting Clothes [Norse]

Recommended Posts

So I have posted about the value of archeological midden pits -- the garbage dumps where a society discards it's unwanted and unneeded items. These are literal snapshots of a society, what they wore, what they ate, and so forth.

This video is a woman dressing for cold Northern maritime temperatures in the 800-1000 AD timeframe. She includes recreated clothing that came from grave goods and midden pits and assembles them into an everyday wear outfit. I thought some of you might find this useful.
