  • RPG Biography
Started with D&D 4E Essentials acquired on a family trip to Hawaii.
Then found the joys of Rules as Physics retroactively on the 3.5E SRD, eventually moving on to Pathfinder (PF1 and PF2 later on).
Interested in the cause of Rules as Physics, and legal freedom via commercially free licenses (CC-BY(-SA), ORC, etc.), and games which provide more of those two are my choices (listed in the "Current games" section).
  • Current games
BRUGE, Fate, PF2, and a small number of OSR games with polite authors; while GURPS and HERO being major heartbreakers for being legally traditional (a.k.a. restrictive).
  • Location
A pale shadow of the Akashic Records
  • Blurb
Rules as Physics; a.k.a. Rules over Rulings.

  1. Apparently, as far as I can decipher this book, it seems that after your human PC hits 21 POW via experience checks, you can't raise it this way further. No minimum chance or anything, other than the vague words on the paragraph right above that part, where the implication is that POW is the only attribute that's supposed to be NOT limited by the species maximum. Was this part incomplete, somehow? Are the only other rule codified ways to raise POW above 21 is to gain or start with a POW increase Mutation, the Sorcery spell "Bolster the Soul" cast on max level, or Super POW?
  2. Ah, I wish I could get the "leatherette" edition, but my massive mistrust of all 3rd party payment services(*) prevents me from getting a physical copy from Chaosium's own market... 😞 Well, if I ever get a chance to get even a normal version during overseas trips I'd definitely pick it up. 🙂 (*) Ever since about a decade ago when some evil soul assumed to be from Delaware, U.S. somehow nearly robbed me 500 bucks via PayPal. It would have been nice to just let directly use your credit card without saving information, but well...
