@rsanford yeah I've posted all around. I'm just gearing up to start running some DG, and was looking for a good place where they're discussing rules and what-not. Haven't been over here in ages.

@10baseT so there is no official way to determine this just up to the Keeeper then? I can do that, was just wondering if maybe I missed it somewhere in the book?

In the new DG Handler's Guide, When studying a ritual or reading a tome, how do you determine the study time? I only see it says 'days/weeks/months' etc. How many days/weeks/months?

Still, wikipedia suggests that (even though it didn't Go Big at the box office and kinda got critic-slammed), they are thinking about both a movie-sequel and a TV series... maybe...

So maybe (given the "underperforming" Box) there could be some not-too-expensive RPG rights, that might roll out en suite with the next media...?

Stephen King's Dark Tower series. Psychics, cowboys, parallel worlds, beast men... I've wanted to make this myself, with the BGB. I wonder if anyone has ever approached King about an RPG.

I plan on playing through Parallel Lines with some side quests thrown in. I got a ton of ideas just from the player's backgrounds. I wanted to dive into this setting about 2 years ago, but got sidetracked.

Anybody been playing Luther Arkwright? I'm about to start up a campaign in a week or so, was curious if anyone had some experiences to share.

I wanted to print on demand the Chaos Cults and Gods of Law pdf's from stormbringerrpg.com. Is that allowed? I'm having trouble uploading to lulu, it tells me the fonts need to be embeded. I'm at a loss.

Deep Ones are an obvious adversary, good for low level and as they go along you can always throw in more deep ones, hordes of deep ones, and finally possibly an appearance by Dagon or Hydra.

Like you said, Mythras is here now and you know what you're getting. Unfortunately, BRP Essentials could be a long way off and it will not be the BRP from BGB, that we know and love. I have recently been giving Mythras more attention, it's a crunchier version of BRP, but it is quite awesome and it has great support.

I love The Laundry, but only ran it once.

I attempted to run Book of Quests with Magic World. It can be done, but I found it was better to run it with RQ6 as intended.
